My wife, Jody, and I developed this class together to add to our repertoire
of tools as Quantum-Touch practitioners. This class is a deep exploration
of the self. It requires a commitment and a focus that moves well beyond
standard Quantum-Touch.
You will first learn skills to quiet your body so
well that you will be able to "hear" more clearly what's going on inside
yourself and your client. This is cultivated through a series of
physical/internal exercises that for best results should be practiced on a
continuing basis. These exercises are drawn from Feldenkrais, Yoga, Qigong,
and Somatic Learning of Risa Kaparo, but are approached from a different
level of awareness and will take you on a continuing journey of discovery.
The exercises are quite simple, can be spread out throughout your day and
can be practiced pretty much anywhere. The time invested each day might
total fifteen minutes. Of course the more you practice the more you learn.
In Core Transformation, we find that we can work on ourselves almost as
easily as we can work on others. The level of sensitivity that we explore
lends itself to self-healing and distance healing as well as hands-on work
on clients. The deep sense of allowing that we cultivate allows us to truly
melt and dissolve physical and emotional barriers, thus more is possible.
You will learn to identify and unravel stuck patterns in others at a very
deep level, often even identifying microscopic changes in structure. When
blockages are found, you will learn new skills to literally melt and
transform them.
While all the tools are taught within this class, to be able to use them
well requires ongoing practice. The more you practice the more your
abilities will deepen.
I find that I still use basic and supercharged
Quantum-Touch techniques, particularly when a client is very depleted. I
often alternate between these and the Core Transformation techniques.
I am very attracted to the "Core" work as taught in this class and often
start here. In the long run I let the
client decide how I approach a problem. I offer both, and continue with
whichever technique is giving the client the best response.
Some things respond faster to the Basic/Supercharged flow, and others
respond faster to the "Core" work. Please join us in this exploration. I feel it offers the
opportunity for deep personal growth as well as augmenting healing work.
Due to a great number of questions related to what this class is about I
have expanded my explanation to include what is written below.
This class was originally created in order to answer three questions that
were often asked in the Supercharging QT workshops.
- How can I work on myself as easily as I work on others?
- Why does the pain in my clients sometimes come back?
- How can I perceive into structure (see into others) in order to be more
effective with my healing work?
The Core Transformation class, with a little practice, answers all these
questions and a great deal more. The Core Transformation class is really the
other side of the coin in the Quantum-Touch arena. Instead of sweeping and
breathing in order to "up" our vibration and then offer energy through us to
create a result, we are working on ourselves to create an amazingly quiet
and opening experience within. The "quieter" we make our system, the more
we can affect others and ourselves. Within this system, whatever we touch
becomes "us". This means that as we work on ourselves we are working on
those we touch. (This technique also works well long distance.) People say
that with this touch it feels like the areas of disharmony are melting and
or unraveling.
Initially, this technique appears somewhat more difficult than the
Quantum-Touch that you are used to. This is true to some extent in that it
requires more focus to get used to a unique breathing technique. Once this
becomes comfortable the technique is rather easy to do. The major difference
between this and the basic and supercharging classes is that we do not send
out any energy. We just unfold ourselves. You may have heard me refer to a
Yang style of energy work and a Yin style of energy work.
The Yang energy work is what you have grown accustomed to and is what is
taught in the basic and Supercharging classes. We send out (a yang approach
to flow) energy and the client entrains to that flow. The Yin energy work
is an "unfolding" rather than a "sending" method. While we are active with
our intent to some degree, it is more about release than about push. In
effect, when we work with a client, the client is entraining to quiet (Yin)
vs. activity (Yang) energy. The nature of the Yin work is best understood
by doing.
The movements that we do in this class are very simple. They help to retrain
habitual movement patterns and "free up" how you move. In addition the
movements should be thought of as "speed bumps" to expand the awareness that
is created through the Yin breath.
