REMINDER: NEW POLICY - INSTRUCTOR / PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
Effective November 1, 2006
Due to popular request and our international growth, especially in non-English
speaking countries, we have modified our instructor and practitioner
certification policies.
Currently for practitioner certification, we charge $125 which includes a box
of 20 lecture CDs. We have decided to discontinue sending out the boxes
of 20 CDs and lower the certification price to $100 U.S.
Currently for our instructor certification, we charge
$225, which includes a box of 250 CDs and 5 books. We have decided to
discontinue sending out products and lower the certification price to $150 U.S.
We have modified these policies because people who do not speak English cannot
make use of these products and some people were incurring high customs charges
outside of the U.S.

2. Best Practice in Medicine - by Richard Gordon
Imagine if Quantum-Touch was considered the “best practice” in medicine for
certain conditions. Should that come to be, physicians would be legally required
to prescribe QT in various situations. This idea is not impossible or
even far-fetched, but it will require some years of NIH (National Institute of
Health)-quality research.
The first step is very simple and will require your assistance. We will
need to gather 30 or 40 medical case histories at times where QT was clearly
helpful when nothing else could have helped or explained the healing. Examples
could be with fetal alcohol syndrome, scoliosis, spinal muscular atrophy,
bringing up blood gas levels during surgery, etc.
If you have seen “miracles” with QT and there is a
medical case history, here is what to do.
1. Have the client write a note giving you permission to speak with their
physician about their condition.
2. Contact the physician and ask them to provide the medical records for that
patient.
3. Send these records with the permission of the patient and with an
understanding of confidentiality to QT.
We’ll take it from there. Please pass this on to other QT people who may not have
read this announcement.

3. Powerful Practitioner Insights
(1). If you provide a safe, trusting, healing environment, the client's
body really does sense it and the body literally does
unwind its old built-up tensions. I have had clients' bodies
physically unwind into and out of strange positions - which, when they are done
with the QT session, they can't physically repeat the positions (as they are
not as flexible as they were just minutes before!). It really is
beautiful to see and experience. The body’s inner wisdom really does know
what we need - we just have to offer it the trusting environment to allow it to
take place!

(2). The tripod method of using thumbs and fingers to direct energy is
very effective where there is a need for intense healing energy concentrated in
one area. This is especially effective on fibroids and tumors. They
have actually shrunk.

(3). While running energy to clients, I usually ask them to breathe
deeply into the area we are working on and also ask them to imagine something
they love the most inside the tissue we are working on. I often find this
to be very beneficial.

(4). QT works, even if you don't perceive it. A lady has been lying in
bed for the last 20 years. She is 90% paralyzed (only her left arm moves
slightly), she is deaf and dumb. Everybody would say she is like a
vegetable. Sometime ago my wife and I visited this poor lady, I put my
hands around her chest and ran QT, no reactions. Then my wife did the
same, because we are convinced that in some way, QT helps. Again during
all this time no reaction was shown. At a certain moment my wife moved
back her hands, thinking she had finished her work. At this point, the
lady suddenly grasped my wife's hand with her only moving arm and set my wife's
hand on her heart again!!!!
QT did really help!!!!

4. Child Bites through Tongue – Miraculous Recovery!
Last month while playing with a friend at our neighbor's house, my 7-year-old
daughter collided with her friends head as it came up under her chin. At
that point she bit through her tongue causing a half inch gaping wound.
My wife and I rushed over to the neighbors and drove her to the nearest
emergency facility. As my wife drove I began QT on my daughter and
continued (for 45 minutes) until the nurse and doctor were ready for her.
By that time she had completely calmed down and was taking things in a very
relaxed manner. When the nurse asked what her pain level was (0 being no
pain, 10 being severe), she indicated 0, no pain. Both the nurse and
doctor seemed to be as amazed as I was. The doctor indicated that if it
didn't begin to mend together within a week, or didn't stop bleeding, we would
have to come back for stitches. The next day her tongue was already
showing signs of closing the gap and by day 12 the wound was completely healed,
invisible, not even a scar.
We are very thankful for QT!

5. Hernia Vanishes and Cancer Disappears
I have an AMAZING event to report!! I have an older couple that I have
been working with for nearly a year now. In the fall of 2005 the wife
came to me after attending some of the healing circles that we had in this
area. She had called on a Friday afternoon and had asked if it would be
possible for me to run some energy on her on the following Sunday
afternoon/evening as she was scheduled for hernia surgery on Monday. I
told her of course, but that it needed to be late in afternoon as I was hosting
the final day of a video workshop. She agreed and arrived just as we were
finishing up and practicing one last time.
So I suggested that since she was to have surgery the following morning that
perhaps the other members of the class would benefit from practicing with her
also. They all took turns and then they left. She was left with
me. I told her that I was in hopes that the energy would not only calm
her, but also aid in pain control the next day after the surgery.
As we began she remarked that my hands were icy cold on her skin, but when she
touched them that they felt warm. The session continued and then suddenly we
both felt something--I cannot explain it, but I saw the hernia close! Now this
is where the amazing thing takes place. She told me that she also felt
something, but that she would just have to show those Doctors a thing or
two. She also said that there was a CT scan, a sonogram, and an x-ray of
the hernia so they -- the Doctors as well as herself knew that there was a
hernia.
The next morning I sat down at the prescribed time and ran energy distantly to
her. At about 3 in the afternoon her sister-in-law called me and told me
that the Mrs. had come through the surgery with flying colors AND there was NO
Hernia!! The Doctors had even called for all the scans, x- rays and the
sonogram reports proving that prior to Sunday she had definitely had a hernia.
Well here comes the next amazing "happening." Her husband had
had a very rare kind of abdominal cancer in 2004-2005. They removed part
of the upper bowel and used radiation on him. Earlier in the year he was
having problems with his back, so the Mrs. suggested that perhaps I would be
able to alleviate some of the pain. So I was again called, and I was able
to help with the pain. In June he went in for his 3-month check-up and
the Doctors found some nodules that looked questionable in his liver
area. He had a nuclear scan, X-rays and a CT scan. All showed
something suspicious. So again I was called and we went to work.
Now these two wonderful people are older and are not normally seeking alternative
types of healing, but with the prospects of more surgery, the Mr. said he had
nothing to lose and besides I had helped with pain earlier in the year and had
helped the Mrs. As the session started --the Mrs. was in the room-- he
also remarked that my hands were icy cold on his body, but when he touched them
they were warm. The session continued and suddenly both of them said “I
see colored sparkling balls in the air!"
The energy was VERY HIGH and I also was seeing waves and veils of energy.
We continued and suddenly the Mr. asked, “What does it mean when everything
turns red?” I assured him everything was alright, but that I saw the
nodules disappear just as he spoke of seeing the RED.
The next day he went to receive one more CT scan. The Doctor left town,
so he had to wait for the results for nearly a month. When the Doctor saw
him, he--the Doctor-- was amazed that the nodules were gone. These people
were so amazed, that when they left the Doctor’s office, they came directly to
my home to give me the news and to hug me. We all had a good cry--one of
relief and joy!!!
These two wonderful people will be in my heart forever and just as they are, I
too am so very thankful to QT for these amazing happenings!!! Miracles
are what they call them!!!!

6. Year-and-a-Half-Old Baby Uses QT
My little boy, a year and a half, will imitate QT
breathing and put my hands around places where he feels hurt: ant stings,
bumps, bruises, or teething pain. He likes QT on his head to help him
fall asleep. I've also seen him use the sweeping, breathing and hand
sandwich on himself after a scrape or bump.

7. Peaceful Passing
My teacher has suggested many times that I write and share. I feel moved
to share now. My Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and was
exercising her last conscious choice which was to quit eating. She stayed
around to see her family one last time and to hear their words of love.
After everyone was gone and at the end of a long emotional weekend, I got a
call from a nurse at Mom's nursing home. I went in to say
"goodbye."
We talked love, gratitude and forgiveness. I was in bed with her sending
energy at different target spots. When I got to the heart, the QT was
immediately received and gave her the courage to cross the veil. A
process that can take days took less than 2 hours and was so incredibly
beautiful. I am a RN and work at the same nursing home. I have used
this technique several other times but only after the patient has expressed the desire to die. I don't think it
would work if they weren't ready.

8. The Hidden Sprinkler – A Reminder to Practice Self-Healing
I was sprinting across the lawn when a metal sprinkler head, hidden by the tall
grass, grabbed me and sent me sprawling flat on the adjacent concrete
sidewalk. Stunned and hurting on all points of impact (both knees, both elbows
and forearms and my head), I told Rick, "We're
going home."
Once in the car, all I could think of was the 40 minute ride back and my right
knee screaming at me . . .at least an 8. “I
can't wait till we get home and you can run energy on me.", I said.
"Run it on yourself," he said. I don't
know why I don't remember to do that. I started running energy and within
a few minutes the pain was at a bearable 4.
Rick finished the job when we got home and the next day, my body didn't even
know it happened. QT is the greatest first-aid in the world. Thanks

9. Relieving a Migraine Headache
My neighbor called me today and asked me if I would work on her headache.
She gave me her history of Migraines and told me the Doctor had been giving her
$300 a month in meds that don’t work and how she needs surgery on her neck.
I looked at her neck and of course there is the big bulge at C7 and T1.
My family all have it from stress-related issues.
I started on the Occipital Ridge and she said it was opening up, so I worked on
her neck a little. She said my hands were really getting hot. I let
her feel my hands and they were just normal. I let her know it was the
energy and the energy transferring.
Then she started complaining about her ears plugging up so I worked on her ears
and they opened back up. Then I worked behind her eyes as well as on the
pressure in her temples. They were all resolved very quickly. In
less than 15 minutes she was singing, "I feel good!"
She now wants to know more. I gave her Richard's lecture CD to listen
to. I invited her to a healing circle and possibly a videoworkshop,
and then from there, who knows?

10. Sleeping Through the Night
My sister-in-law read the book and did the video workshop, and runs QT
occasionally. She started working on her husband due to anxiety.
They starting to have 3 sessions a week and his condition improved.
On the second week he started to feel some pain in the sternum. She
worked there and the pain moved to his Adam's apple. She chased the pain,
and noticed a twist on his neck and started to work around the neck. She
also noticed a crease on the back of his neck. After some time his
neck was aligned, the crease was gone, as well as the pain.
That night, she slept the whole night through for the first time in many
years. He has not snored since or had any sleep apnea.

11. Bird, Starfish, or Human – Your Love Makes a Difference
Sitting on the front step of my client's house was a little (but fat)
birdie. No amount of gentle pushing would get it to move, let alone walk
or fly. Prodding and nudging only resulted in a slight movement of its
head. At least its neck wasn't broken.
I was starting my shift as a private home health caregiver and my lady needed
my assistance. I could run energy on the bird later, but what to do with
it in the meanwhile?
My car was parked in the shade. Perfect [spot]. Not too hot, not
too cold, and safe from the numerous neighborhood cats.
Thirty five minutes later I was back. The wee ball of feathers was
exactly where I left it on my seat. I gingerly removed him from the car
and again tried to encourage him to fly away. No dice. His limp
body lay motionless in my palms. Lightly cradling my hands around him I
began to run energy. Within a minute he became animated and started
moving. I continued and in another minute the activity increased like a
video in fast forward.
I slowly opened my hands and my little friend burst straight away from me,
flying up to the nearest tree. Wow!
I felt like the guy on the beach tossing the starfish back into the
ocean. Another man notices the large number of starfish still stranded
and dying on the sand and then shakes his head and asks, "Why bother? What
difference could it possibly make?"
The first man picks up another starfish and gently throws it in the water,
replying, "It made a difference to THAT one."
