1. News from Quantum-Touch

2. Supercharging DVD Workshop and the Art of Running Energy – by Richard Gordon

Most of you are probably familiar with how the Supercharging workshop came into existence. It makes a great story which I will not repeat now. (You can listen to the story in my lecture, which can be downloaded from the upper left bar of our website homepage: http://classic.quantumtouch.com/). In the years when I was on the road giving endless lectures and workshops, I would often be using the Supercharging method during my short healing demonstrations which really amplified to improve the effectiveness of these very short sessions.

Having learned the work from the highly talented Mary Derr, and observing how Alain Herriott greatly enriched the work with his understandings of energy, I was honestly surprised when I edited the Supercharging DVD workshop on how much I was learning. To edit the tapes, I needed to watch the entire workshop at least three times in order to make initial cuts, check to see how the edited copy worked, and then view the final copy that would then be mass produced. Amazingly each time I viewed the video I felt like I was learning new things.

The insights Alain shares during the practice sessions are almost always things I need to hear again and again – and again. I’ve been running energy with sweeps and breaths every day since I first learned to do it from Bob Rasmusson in 1978, and in all this time I have come to understand that running energy is an art, which can be improved upon for a lifetime.

3. The Power of Entrainment

In the last workshop we taught, one of the participants could see auras. She said that at the beginning of the class there was a wonderful golden white aura around Richard (my husband) and myself. She watched as during the workshop this aura extended to all the participants, until the room was filled with golden white light. I think that it is really neat that everyone in the class entrained to the higher level of energy we were projecting during the workshop.

Just think of how you are affecting those around you as you continue to work on yourselves, heal and raise your own vibrational level permanently. If we get enough people doing QT and raising their own vibration then when we walk into a volatile situation (be it illness, anger, disaster, etc.) the vibration in that area would be instantly changed and all would be done from a higher level. Isn't that a cool idea?!

4. Dogs, Thunder, and Quantum-Touch

Like older people, older dogs sometimes develop anxieties they did not have in their youth. By the time Lorna (miniature long-haired dachshund) reached her mid teens, she was very upset by thunder. Even before I could hear it, she was trembling, and shaking with her heart racing and eyes rolling. And she would look to me to do something about it!

I was especially concerned about her heart. Enter Quantum-Touch. Gently I laid her on the floor in front of me, one hand on her heart, the other at her back. She gave a few token struggles, 'oh, no mum, let me go' sort of thing. Within a few minutes, she was totally relaxed. No trembling, rolling eyeballs or fast heartbeat. My hands melted into her and every so often I would peek to see where they really were!

After twenty minutes, she was a total zombie. (Me too) I tried to prop her up on her feet but she just flopped down on her other side, every cell of her being calling for more! So we shared another twenty minutes, at which point I carried her to her bed (which is also my bed) and she never moved till morning.

From then on, every time she entered this thunder-induced state of anxiety, Quantum Touch ALWAYS brought her out of it in minutes. Even in the middle of the night, if thunder came and Lorna started shaking, I would simply reach out my hands, one on each side of her - and we would both go back to sleep 'doing it'.

Candace is another of my miniature long-haired dachshunds. She is twelve years old, and every so often has what I call a 'rattley tummy', but she will never let me do Quantum Touch on her physically. However, in the great heat this summer, she developed an acute and severe attack of what appeared to be cystitis. Although I also gave her other alternative remedies, this time, when things were really serious, she willingly accepted the hands on love of Quantum Touch. Within a few days she was 100% OK.

5. Sleep Peacefully with Quantum-Touch

My 11-year-old daughter got in bed with me about 4AM this morning stating, "I have a horrible stomachache." I began running energy on her right away and followed the pain down her abdomen. In about 10 minutes the horrible pain had gone away completely, and she was back to sleep. Joy!

6. Woman Stands Flat-Footed for the First Time in Over 60 Years!

Several months ago, Patrick Porter, Ruth Rottinghaus, Carmen Cady and I took the beginning Quantum Touch class from Patricia Wagner. Since then, the four of us have been working individually and as a team doing Quantum Touch.

In one team healing session, a person came in with her right heel that would not touch the ground. She'd had polio as a child of 5 and the Achilles tendon had shortened up ever since then and had left her unable to walk flat-footed. As a result, her left shoulder was considerably lower than the other and her back was twisted. As we were concluding our one hour session, she sat up and we worked a bit more on her shoulders. Her shoulders squared themselves up. She stood up and both feet went flat on the floor.
This woman had just retired, so she had spent the over 60 years of her life with that shortened tendon. Once she recognized that the heel was touching the ground on its own and that her shoulders were squared and her back was balanced, she whooped and hollered and danced down the hall and back! It was nothing short of a miracle to all of us.

She has had several more treatments to maintain the progress. She finds that when she overdoes it or gets too tired that the heel will pull up again. With rest, it drops back down all on its own. This is just unbelievable. And this is just ONE story of many stories we have to share. We are truly grateful for Quantum Touch and way it is touching people's lives . . . including all of ours!

7. First Time Video Workshop Facilitator Shares His AWESOME Experience

I facilitated my first video workshop over the weekend. WOW! What an experience that was!

The couple who let us use their house, a naturopathic doctor and her husband, were very impressed with Quantum-Touch after the first day. She was able to sleep on her side for the first time in a long time due to chronic shoulder pain. Her range of motion also increased.

Her husband had a large varicose vein, at least 1/2 inch in diameter, starting about 3 inches above his knee and continuing down to mid-calf. Because he had other, "more important" problems, we spent MAYBE 5 minutes working on it the first day. It was noticeably improved by Sunday morning. We worked on it again that afternoon, and it was barely noticeable by the end of class that evening.

Another student felt like his arms were numb the first day. He announced on Sunday morning that he could now feel the energy flowing freely down both arms, and that his girlfriend wants to take the class.

I can honestly say that, after 38 years in the medical profession, Quantum-Touch is BY FAR the easiest, most amazing, and rewarding healing modality I've ever had the pleasure to learn.

I look forward to facilitating many more of these workshops as I work towards becoming an instructor.

8. Drooping Tulips Revitalized with Quantum-Touch

I had bought tulips a few weeks ago and forgot to take them home and they were without water from noon when I purchased them on Wednesday until 6 pm on Thursday. I decided to run energy into the water as they were drooping but this had no noticeable effect.

On the Friday when I came home after work I decided to run energy directly into the flowers. Four of the five flowers were drooping and all leaves were also drooping. Unfortunately I did not take a photograph before I started working. I gathered the leaves up from the bottom of each stem and brought them upwards towards the flowers and ran energy into the gathered leaves and flowers. After a few minutes I checked and there was a definite change upwards in both leaves and flowers. After running more energy, all but 2 leaves lifted up and the flowers were standing like soldiers on their stems.

It was great to see such a clear demonstration of energy at work and proof that we are dealing with something that is very real (universal energy). The tulips remained erect for a full week after the treatment, even though the blossoms had begun to disintegrate.

9. Eleven Year Old Children Use QT on Pet Hamster, ‘Smoky-Joe’

My son who is eleven has a pet dwarf hamster - Smoky Joe - cute as can be! Yesterday he came into the kitchen, 'Mum, there's something wrong with Smoky Joe'. The poor little thing had a big cut across his neck and had pulled out patch of fur surrounding it. He was very shaky and things did not look good.

My son started running energy joined by a friend of his to whom he had taught QT. Then I ran some, joined by my husband Ben and another friend of ours to whom we had given Richard's book!

All in all, Smoky got about two hours of work from two eleven yr olds and three adults. This morning, the cut had completely healed! It's as if nothing happened (barring the bald patch - which we are working on!). Hurray!! QT power to dwarf hamsters everywhere!

10. Quantum-Touch and the Wild Skunk

I thought I would share a great experience. My husband and I volunteer at a local wildlife rescue and rehab centre and they have this poor little skunk who was not at all well. He has been sick since he was born this spring, very tired, obviously not feeling well, and he got very obese. He just moped around and did not look well at all and could hardly plod along. He had possible diabetes and kidney problems. And the poor little guy can't spray to protect himself in the wild - he hasn't lifted his tail since he was born.

Well, hubby (who is also just learning QT along with me) put the little fellow on his lap and started running energy. The little fellow moved around to make himself comfortable and then fell asleep for awhile. He then woke up and licked hubby's arm. Very gentle for a wild animal with very long, sharp claws!

Anyway, to make a long story short, after 4 sessions over 4 weeks this is not the same little skunk! He is just one curious, going concern now. And does he love hubby! He just cuddles right up for his treatment and then let's hubby take him for a walk - in fact this week he actually ran up the hill - a huge improvement. And the other day he actually lifted his tail when someone went near his cage - though he didn't spray thank heavens!

What great proof that QT can work even when you don't know quite what the problem is even with wild animals.

11. Tiger’s Miracle with QT – A Horse Story

Tiger is an ex thoroughbred race horse. He had and still has a large chip in his right front knee. His racing career was over permanently.

A few months ago Tiger decided to get in a scrap with another horse and pulled a ligament in his left front knee. At least they had their veterinarian look at him. The news was not good. Stall rest for an extended time possibly one or two months, with an anti-inflammatory drug which can be given only 5 days at full strength as it is hard on their stomachs. Tiger was now lame in both front knees, bored in his stall, and became prone to colic (which is severe condition caused from stress, pain, and drug irritating the stomach). After learning of Tiger’s new problems I used some QT on both his front knees. I picked up chronic arthritis in the right knee with the old chip and the left front was severely swollen. You could feel the fluid and see the ligament was swollen. Tiger was not easy to work on as he was so sensitive to the energy. He would threaten me with kicking, running around his stall, biting etc… I tried food (hay) and tying him up. NO! He fought back so I left him alone. Sometimes he would take the energy for a short time but never long enough for my liking.

One day I came on a Sunday to ride my horse and have a wonderful day with “my love of my life”! As soon as I walked in I got nabbed by a young girl named Shevon. She had tried riding Tiger as he showed to be sound after several months rest and turnout, but was not! This day she asked me to come immediately to his stall. He was sick and the owners were gone to a horse show 2 hours away. No one had their cell number (but me).

Tiger was down in his stall, rolling and groaning. Shevon had just finished hand walking him in the large indoor arena. She was only 12 and did the right thing. Knowing Tiger and what I had to do I asked her to hold him. She knew I did something with my hands that seemed to fix the horses. She was scared and desperate for my help. I told her that she may hear me do some weird breathing but just ignore me. I started QT in his gut area as he was colicing. I sensed that he had no food in his guts and they were in terrific spasms. We needed to get Tiger to eat hay and get it moving throughout his many yards of intestines and eventually poop to show us that he did not have a twisted gut that would result in death by extreme pain and shock. I knew I could get Tiger feeling better and Shevon put all her trust in me. She was so attached to Tiger and would do anything to save him. After about 15 minutes I was getting no gut sound (which is BAD!). I went and got a flake of hay. I told Shevon to try and start to hand feed him. Finally he started to munch slowly. After about 20 minutes he started to eat slowly by himself. He went down in the stall only three times and I got him up immediately! I went and got a basket full of carrots and had Shevon hand feed it to him. Eventually I started getting gut sounds! Hurray!!! I knew his guts were not twisted but Tiger was not right yet. I spent about an hour doing QT altogether that day. I could have phoned the barn owners and got permission to give him a needle of strong pain killers but I didn’t. I wanted to see results not mask them! This was not my horse anyway. Plus I wanted to prove to myself what I knew. (That QT would fix him!) Little did I know then just how much? Remember before he wouldn’t tolerate an hour!

Finally the owner came in and asked what was going on. We told her and she replied “he looks good to me”. She suggested giving him the strong pain killer that I mentioned. I said it could mask things like a twisted gut as he hadn’t pooped yet. She said, “He will be euthanized anyway if that is the case”. They were not going to put any money calling a vet to a horse that has only cost them money for three plus years. She came in the stall with the needle, looked at me and said, “I’m not good with large needles, and so will you do it?” Laughing to myself I did give him the needle. As I did he pooped! (I give good needles by the way!)

I knew Tiger would be fine with this incident. Little did I know what really happened! I came a week later and saw Shevon. She told me she had just finished riding Tiger. I asked her if he was still lame. She said NO! He is completely sound now!!!? QT not only helped Tiger get over his colic episode but then went on to fix both front knees. I had to ask if they were medicating him for her rides as some people do. They said NO! They can’t give him anti-inflammatory drugs as he is so prone to colic and that since all the QT he accepted that “one day only” he came out completely sound! Tiger is still sound after 6 weeks and Shevon rides him two or three times a week!

There are no limits to QT. I truly believe this situation was orchestrated by a higher power for Tiger’s benefit. My personal thanks to Richard Gordon as your QT technique is saving many horses that cross my path. In love and light to all suffering horses, I dedicate this QT miracle.

12. Spine Straightens with Quantum-Touch

My husband Ben and I have had a very clear and positive result with a client with scoliosis this weekend. There was a significant curve in the thoracic spine which straightened in just over half an hour with us both running energy. Sometimes I look at the results of this work and I can't believe what I have just seen! We have taken photographs of this particular client so that we can keep a record of progress - it's something that we are doing more and more..... just so that we can look at them and go 'WOW!'

Another great thing that happened recently was that we were working long distance (us in UK, client in NZ) with a client who had just had a cortisone injection to block the pain from sciatica but was still experiencing intense lumbar dysfunction and pain. We were using a slim selenite crystal as we are both interested in the combination of crystals and QT. As we worked, we both watched the crystal bend slightly at the top - almost as if it was melting! A few days later we heard from the client who had just been ice climbing on a glacier! So, from excruciating pain to extreme sports! How cool!
-Lesson learned - expect miracles!
