2. Without Limits - by Richard Gordon
A few years ago, a woman told me a most unusual story after one of my
lectures. She had
come home one evening to discover that an aquarium heater tank had electrocuted
her pet frog. One of its legs was burned off; it was stiff, and
appeared to be dead. She refused to believe that he had no chance
so she started running energy into him. After about 20 minutes she
began to see some signs of life, and she continued running energy into him for
hours after that. In the weeks to follow she continued running energy
into the frog and said that the leg which was burned off eventually grew back.
While it is a known that some salamanders can regrow limbs, and young children
have regrown the tips of their fingers, above the top joint, following
accidental amputation, I have not heard about QT helping to grow back missing
body parts. But I’ve come to be very open-minded about the nearly
endless possibilities of what can be done. As much as I’d like to
get photographs documenting this, I don’t want anyone to lop off an appendage
of any pet, rodent or amphibious critter. However, if you happen
upon someone unfortunate enough to have just lost a finger, toe, or tail,
please take photos and run energy for a long time every day. The
worst that can happen is that you will relieve the pain. If it does
work to grow back the missing part, it would be tremendously exciting and
inspiring.

3. Powerful Practitioner Insights
(1). I like to bring closure to a client session by telling them that the
healing of their body
can be expected to continue for several hours or days, and not to worry if they
feel any unexpected physical or emotional "bumps" during that
time. This gives them
"permission" to feel and process without anxiety as the work
continues after the session.

(3). The most powerful gift we can give to each other when healing is
required, is to
enable the client to feel and experience their bodies as powerful, magnificent
and intelligent. I have found during my sessions with clients that
the overall response from
them has been wonder and excitement at their own ability to heal.
Is this not in itself
a wonderful healing tool? It has truly been remarkable to empower
clients, rather than
allow them to give over their power to the practitioner, as occurs so often in
allopathic
medicine.
In many cases it is the first time that a client has ever actually spent a
session with a
practitioner and been totally present. It is amazing to see their
reactions as they feel
the body responding to touch. It tunes the client into actually
focusing and listening
to their own bodies. I find in many cases that clients have been
totally disassociated
from their bodies.
By experiencing the healing affects of Quantum-Touch they learn to have a new
respect for their bodies and this makes it easier for them to make wiser
choices in their diets,
exercise routines and general life styles.

4. Quantum-Touch with Aloha
I was searching around for a seat at my gate, waiting for my flight from Los Angeles, CA to Kauai, HI.
As I looked around the gate area, I noticed a lovely woman curled up in an
awkward position with her legs propped up on a seat next to her.
She had a soft smile on her face, and was wearing a brightly colored hat with
Hawaiian flowers all over it. She and I made eye contact, and then
she moved her legs off the seat next to her, motioning for me to come
over.
I sat down next to her and she said, “Oh…my back is just killing
me. I was in a car accident, and I’m just trying to keep my feet
up.” I smiled back at her, and without thinking about it, I said, “I
happen to do energy work. I’d be happy to work on your back if you
like.” She gave me an inquisitive look and said, “I’m a devout Christian,
but I am in so much pain, I’ll try anything.” So, I asked her to
stand in front of me and I ran energy into her hips. They went into
alignment almost instantly. Then I worked on her lower back for a
few minutes, and I could feel her body adjusting, and my hands grew hotter and
hotter. We were being called to board our flight, so I only had
about 5 minutes to work with her. As we stood up to board, she
turned to me and said with big eyes, “I can’t believe how much better I
feel.” I smiled back and said, “I’m glad I could be of service.”
About half-way through the flight, I felt a light tapping on my
shoulder. It was the woman I was working on at the
gate. She said, “I had to come up here and tell you I just feel so
much better. I want to be more open to alternative ways of
healing. I asked God to help me and then you sat down next to me at
the gate. I feel like God sent me an angel to help me. How do
you know when you are gifted like that?”
I looked up into her eyes and said, “We all have this gift. It’s
called Love. All we have to do is set our intention and direct our
love to those places inside that hurt. Our love is truly very
powerful.” She nodded and then asked if I would run some energy into her
wrists and hands. I was happy to do so. I noticed a few
of the other passengers on the plane looking at me with
bewilderment. They said nothing, but I felt the questions in their
mind.
I’ve not seen the lady with the Hawaiian hat again. I was so filled
with gratitude that I could share Quantum-Touch with her. Since
then I have been finding myself doing more energy work than ever
before. We are always surrounded by opportunities.
Perhaps I am just more aware of them now.

5. How an MD uses Quantum-Touch in His Medical Practice
I am a breast surgeon and care for women (and men) with breast cancer as well
as a
variety of benign problems. My primary treatment is surgical; although
any time I can
avoid operating I prefer it. Quantum-Touch is used as an adjunct to
that practice.
I have used it for post-op pain relief and relaxation of the muscle spasm that
often
occurs around the shoulder on the side of a mastectomy. It works on
the contracting scar
that often causes restricted range of motion of the shoulder and allows the
patient to
fully extend the arm over her head. Many patients are plagued by
neck and back pain after surgery and simply helping the spine to straighten has
relieved their pain.
There is a lot of anxiety and stress associated with having surgery and I use
QT in the
operating room as the patient is being put to sleep to help them relax prior to
the
anesthetic. They have less trouble post-op. There is
frequently nausea in the recovery
room and I use QT to help the patient overcome that nausea and vomiting.
A common problem for many women is breast pain. Some of it is
really chest wall pain caused by the spine being out of alignment in the
cervical and upper thoracic area. By the time I finish my initial
exam and determine that that is a problem I can run enough energy to help it
get better. Non-specific pain from a variety of causes is
relieved. I always do a complete workup with mammogram, ultrasound
and sometimes MRI to make sure there is no cancer or other cause for the
pain. Then sometimes a very short session takes care of the pain.
When I am in the office during the days when chemotherapy is being given, I
have often helped patients relax and avoid the nausea and similar symptoms they
so often get.
My first visit in the room with a new patient starts with a touch and giving
them a higher level of vibration of the energy since they come into the office
with a diagnosis of cancer or even an unknown lesion and quite
scared. I let them know that my intent is for them to be a survivor
and set their expectation to do the same. My entire office staff
reflects this attitude and helps the patients to avoid the negativity so often
associated with their diagnosis.
From the emotional to the physical I am finding that the energy flow is helping
my patients. I am now “sweeping and breathing” almost continuously
when I am around patients or in the operating room (and most of the other time
as well!) Quantum-Touch is a natural extension of the care I give.

6. Maddie – A Miracle Story (WOW!!!!)
Maddie and her twin brother were both premature infants. Her brother
developed fine, whereas Maddie’s lungs were not strong enough for her survival
without massive support for months and years. When she was 10 months old,
she needed a trachea. She couldn’t breathe through her mouth anymore and
she couldn’t swallow down. Therefore she was nourished artificially
directly into her stomach. As a result of all this she couldn’t learn to
speak because there was no air flowing through her vocal cords. She was
on antibiotics on and off for years because she had one infection after another.
She had big problems getting the phlegm out of her system because she couldn’t
cough. The doctors said she will need the trachea until she is about 8
years old. With this terrible handicap she was retarded, passive, and
phlegmatic.
Maddie is now 3 ½ years old. She came into my practice a few months
ago. She had a total of about 8 treatments. I could see that
she loved her sessions. I tried to find out why, but she couldn’t express
herself. Each session has changed something to the better. From the
first session on she had these beautiful red cheeks. Normally she was
pale and grey. I knew something was happening. Than she got step by
step more alive and interested in her environment. She wanted her mother
to play with her, which was new. She started to articulate herself
stronger with body expressions and she tried to speak a little. It was a
joy to see her unfold.
I suggested her mother get her lungs tested because I felt she was strong
enough to breathe on her own. The doctor was first resistant, but he gave
in after a while and did the test. He wouldn’t believe what happened and
he couldn’t understand why Maddie’s lungs were strong and mature enough to
breathe on their own. With only a little procedure, which is also
unusual, he took the trachea out. Maddie mastered the transition to her
own breathing with unexpected ease. She came into my practice for two
more sessions to support her.
Now she plays with her brother, she speaks – there is still a ways to go, she
laughs, and she is interested in everything and explores the world. She
made leaps forward in her development.
What a joy and gratitude it is to change a life of a little girl so
profoundly.

7. To Believe or Not to Believe – It Just Works!
I let the leader of my video workshop know clearly that I was very skeptical
about this "Quantum-Touch" thing. However, in spite of this
difficulty to believe that this thing could work, I took the workshop in April,
and started running energy on a few people I work with that Monday, with
success.
My friend, another nurse, had a lot of pain in her shoulder from a "disc
problem". She said she had not slept because of it. I ran
energy into her shoulder for less than 10 minutes, and she said it felt much
better!
I caught my finger in the filing cabinet drawer the other day. I had
pulled it out quickly so that it only hurt a lot but was not damaged.
However, it throbbed quite a bit. I ran energy into my finger for about 3
or 4 minutes. The pain had abated but there was still throbbing. I
ran more energy to see if it would stop completely. After only another
two minutes, I pressed on my finger and the pain was gone!
I was at my neighbor's the other day and his 11 year-old daughter did something
similar to her finger right before I got there. I asked her if she would
like me to try and make it stop hurting. After less than five minutes,
the pain had stopped entirely and the finger, which had been bleeding and
starting to turn black and blue, looked normal!
And my most recent healing success was last night at a restaurant with my two
sisters and their husbands. My most skeptical brother-in-law was sitting
and rubbing his elbow. My other brother-in-law asked him about it and was
told that the elbow hurts often from "tennis elbow.” I got
permission to "do my thing" and ran energy to the elbow for about 10
minutes in the midst of a crowded and noisy restaurant. At first my
brother-in-law didn't say anything about my treatment. I finally asked
him if his elbow still hurt him. He said, "I want to wait and see if
it hurts later on". He responded to my question when asked the
second time, "No, it doesn't hurt at all, now!"
I am really enjoying watching my belief in Quantum-Touch grow.

8. Kidney Stone Relief
My husband was complaining with what sounded like pain from a kidney
stone. He's really open to me running energy because he has received pain
relief from other ailments several times before. I love getting the
opportunity to run energy (though I'm sorry for someone else's pain). As
I ran energy I imagined the stone dissolving. I even looked up the point
on his foot to perform reflexology as well. It was extremely sore.
After pushing on the pressure point I ran energy to the pressure point as
well. It has been 24 hours and his pain is gone. Awesome
experience! Also I have been running distant energy to a lady at church who has
pancreatic cancer. I don't know her personally and she doesn't know
me. I got an e-mail prayer chain letter that said she was in
remission. I
give thanks to the Holy Spirit when healing occurs.

9. Distance Healing from Virginia to Kazakhstan
I called my Mom on the phone a while ago, and she said that her back was
bothering her that day so much, she couldn't sit or lay; she was just pacing
the room. She was afraid of not being able to get up. Her heart
wasn't doing too well either... She was thinking that her pain
might be due to some kidney problem, and asked me to check them for her.
Usually I use my pendulum for scanning bio-energy, but I didn’t have it with me
while talking on the phone with my Mom. I decided to try a new technique
that I learned at the Quantum-Touch Core Transformation workshop, feeling the
flow of energy with my wrists. I often use it during my healing sessions,
but in order to locate the problem, I use my pendulum. Her kidneys were
OK. She asked me if I could tell her, using the Core technique, which
side of her back felt more painful. I felt it was the left one. My
Mom said, “Wow, you are so right!” I told her that I was going to work on
her using Quantum-Touch for about 40 minutes, and would call her back right
after that. My Mom lives in Kazakhstan (it is a former Republic of the
Soviet Union), and I live in Virginia, USA. We have a ten hour time
difference.
When I called her back, she was much better. Her back pain went down from
8 to 2, and her heart pain and discomfort went down form 8 to 1. She no
longer felt discomfort in her heart area or tremor, just a little apprehension
that it might come back. So, we decided to call it “1,” since it was a
tiny discomfort, even though on a mental level. While working on her, I
received insights that her back pain was caused by accumulated stress, and the
real bad ones could be triggered by anxiety, frustration, or any kind of
negative emotions. Constant mini-stresses are the worst. They
bombard us every day and we even don’t register them any more. I
explained that to my Mom and told her that she needed to relax and breathe
deeply, meditate and drink Valerian tea to relax and ease the pain. I
called her the next day, after doing another healing on her using QT
Supercharging techniques. She said she was doing great! She had
more energy, and nothing was bothering her at all! She said, “You see, I
can dance!” Of course, I couldn’t see, but I felt it. We both were
so delighted.
Quantum-Touch is one of the biggest miracles I have ever encountered in my
life. It requires from the practitioner so little, just your sincere
desire to help, and gives in return so much, the help itself! I am a true
believer that Quantum-Touch will play a very significant role in brining health
and well-being to our fellow-men all over the world. It makes people
smile and want to help others. And it is so contagious!

10. Amazing Recovery Bewilders Heart Surgeon
We've had a patient in our intensive care for a few weeks. He is in his
30's and had a heart attack on a golf course. He was golfing with
strangers in a "scramble tournament" and one of those strangers
performed CPR on him for about 40 minutes with no outward response.
The heart surgeon was in agony about whether or not to repair his heart because
of the amount of time this guy went without oxygen -- great likelihood of a
vegetative state if he survived. Ultimately the idea of the man's small
children won out. After surgery, it looked for weeks as though the
vegetative state would be the outcome. No purposeful movements or
responses.
I kept hearing about this case in rounds but was not consulted yet
(inappropriate at that point for my official job in the hospital); it was
driving me crazy. I sent distance healing instead, during rounds and any
time of day when he would come to mind. The next thing I heard was that
he was being scheduled for a swallow study to see whether he was safe to eat
yet and that he had just finished walking a few laps around the nurse's station
with his wife!
I have since become involved officially with his case and he has a significant
brain injury but absolutely nothing on the scale of what we would reasonably
expect. Everyone calls him our miracle, including the skeptical heart
surgeon. I don't know how much I contributed, and I know he had the good
will and prayers of many coming his way. It's been great to see him
return to the living.

11. Healing a Herniated Disc
A friend of mine has a horribly herniated L4-L5 intervertebral disc, and I
haven't been able to get into the musculature surrounding the area due to the
intense pain and inflammation she's experiencing. One day, I decided to
apply QT and direct it towards the area I couldn't touch. All the while I
was envisioning her as a baby in the womb again, with everything healthy and
functional again in her back. She said about an hour after my session
with her, she felt things "unwind" in her lower back, and the pain
decreased significantly.
She went to her chiropractor on Monday (three days after our session together)
and he took x-rays again for her impending trial date (against the people who
hit her car and started all these back problems) and said her disc was in
place, no longer hanging laterally out of place! She has had no pain medication
(she can't afford it) and has suffered for four years with this problem...she
has energy, her motivational levels are up, and her back doesn't hurt anymore!
I know I'll have to continue working on her, which is nothing--I love the girl
to pieces.
Just an example of how well QT works in conjunction with bodywork, hope it
helps!!!
