1. Thankfulness or Gratitude? - By Richard Gordon

I was thinking about the difference between thankfulness and gratitude.
Thankfulness often brings about sentiments of appreciation. While gratitude on the other hand has more impact and often moves people to take action. When my life was deeply moved with the awareness that we hold a gift that will powerfully transform lives and accelerate healing, I was moved to gratitude, and have been working for years to bring Quantum-Touch to as many people as possible.

What do you wish to do with this knowledge?

2. Practitioner Insights

(1). I love distance healing and I use that often when I work on myself. I hold the image of the part of myself that needs healing in my hands and then send energy to it. It works well. Distance healings for clients have been very effective also. I basically do the same thing. I find that using a table top to rest my arms on while I cup my hands together for distance healing prevents my arms from getting tired out.

(2). While hosting the video workshop, we were working on spinning the energy during a practice session. I have always had a little difficulty spinning the energy and was trying to visualize it when I received an inspiration. I saw spinning propellers sweeping up through my body and it really made a difference. I could make them larger or smaller, faster or slower, however I wanted and they are so very easy to visualize. I shared this with all the attendees and for many of them, it made a big difference.

(3). I am learning to look for the images that flash into my consciousness, providing many times exactly the right thing to say to my client - the right thing at the right time. The work is becoming more and more intuitive.

(4). I have found time and time again that while using the tri-pod hand position on both the pituitary and pineal glands, people have often had up-lifting experiences, and have documented a "rush" of awareness. This has been combined with them documenting seeing color (with their eyes closed).

3. QT Helps Relieve Skin Cancer Symptoms

February, 2006 will mark my one year anniversary utilizing the incredible healing powers of Quantum-Touch. I have had many, many amazing experiences with Quantum-Touch and Supercharging. I do feel this one is the most significant and needs to be shared with the world.

Last week I had the most amazing healing experience while working with a client. She had a new mole on her breast. She gets skin cancer very easily and has had it often with a number of scars on her body from surgery. The mole was itchy and sore. She also has had difficulties breathing and her hip was out and causing her pain.

First I provided Quantum-Touch on her hips. Then I provided Supercharging on her mole. It completely stopped itching and the soreness was gone within minutes. I have done work like this for her before and within a few days the mole was completely gone.

Then I moved to the lung area. Wow! Was that amazing! I have provided intense healing before but nothing like this.

After providing Supercharging on her lungs for about 5 minutes, both of my hands jumped and felt like they were being pulled into her chest. Not only did I feel it, the client also felt it. My hands were stuck in place. I could not move them away for about 15 to 20 minutes. It felt as if my hands were inside of her chest, manipulating her lungs, and then my hands felt like there were placed palms up and went under her lungs. She also felt all of this and she kept me advised of what was going on throughout the session. (Thank goodness she did, because I would have thought I was a little crazy). For about 5 minutes after the healing session was completed my hands and my arms were bright, bright red and itching all the way up to my elbow. It was incredible.

And yes, my client felt her breathing passages open and she could breathe freely. She emailed me the next day to let me know that she was feeling great!

4. Eleven Year Old Gets Relief from Dog Bite

On New Years Eve, we were at my sister-in-laws watching a DVD. At approximately 9:30 there was a big commotion in the kitchen. An 11 year old girl had been bitten by a German shepherd. It tore a chunk out of her forearm about the size of a quarter and was about a quarter inch deep.

My nephew, her soccer coach, was holding a kitchen towel over the wound to stop the bleeding. The poor girl was scared to death and hysterical as were most of the people crowded around her. I reached between two people, put my hands on her back and started running energy.

In a few minutes she started to calm down and it had the same effect on the other people. They didn't have a clue what I was doing but they moved out of the way and I was able to move to her forearm and cup the wound. In a few minutes I asked her about the pain and she replied that it had stopped. That's when I made a mistake. I removed my top hand to check the bleeding. It had stopped but the girl looked down at the wound, seeing it for the first time. Her eyes rolled back and she slithered to the floor leaning against my legs. I put my hands on the sides of her head and in two sweeps her eyes opened. She acted like nothing had happened, but couldn't figure out why she was on the floor.

My nephew picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He laid her on the bed and propped her feet up. I sat on a chair next to her and started running energy again. After about 5 minutes I asked her how it felt. She said that there was no pain, but it had a strong burning sensation. I told her to tell me when it stopped. A few minutes later she said that the burning stopped but now it tingled. "Great!" "Let me know when it stops," I said.

Not long after that she said that the tingling had stopped and that it felt OK. The wound had glazed over. There was no bleeding, bruising or swelling. We put a large band aid on it and she acted as though nothing had happened. She kissed me on the cheek, said thanks, and went off to play with the other kids.

I checked on her 15 minutes later and found her sitting on a bed with my 11 year old twin grand nieces and my 10 year old grandson. The girls were teaching him to play poker and he was winning.

I checked on her the other day and the scab was about to come off. Not bad for a kinesthetically impaired (page 34 in the book) old guy.

5. Distance Healing and a Bundle of Gratitude

A dear friend of mine - she is in her fifties- had had several severe hip surgeries when she was twelve, thirteen and fourteen years old. Since then she had experienced only short periods of time in her life being pain free. Her concerns about her hips never stopped. She was always limping a little and needed a lot of attention for her body.

With this condition she fell recently hard on the ice. She lives in Munich, Germany. The winter is cold there right now.

Marion called me in total desperation. She was in so much pain and she said, she couldn't move. She was overwhelmed with fear of never being able to walk again. She was panicking before she went to sleep the first night after her fall.

I did a one hour long distance healing session before she went to bed. She felt great relief and was able to sleep. The next day I was out of town, but I promised to work on her when ever I had a little time available. Unexpectedly and fortunately I got an hour off, which I used for another long distance treatment.

The next day, she could tell me the exact time, when I was working on her. She had been able to feel how the pain had melted away. She felt so much better.

I did a third treatment on her and at the end of this session she was completely pain free. She couldn't believe it. Now she is a bundle of gratitude.

6. Eye Hemorrhage Disappears

Just want to thank everyone for the love and prayers and all the work everyone did on me. The doctor did an exam with pictures that he said would show any deep hemorrhages without an invasive florescence test. The test showed no deep hemorrhaging and no swelling from fluid.

The retina photos showed no hemorrhages where there had been 3 stacked on each other before. The only thing showed up was some thickening of a membrane from an old central serous retinopathy. He said there was nothing to treat. There were a few lipids that showed up but he said that was common and they are usually absorbed when the capillaries are doing their thing.

Therefore, NO SURGERY was needed. My wife was impressed that he was holding his third eye the whole time he was reading the information from the referring doctor. He certainly had good vibes. Thanks again and feel free to send this to one and all.

7. Distance Dentistry

I am still continually amazed at the power of Quantum-Touch!! I was contacted by a woman with a toothache a short while back, and we scheduled a distant healing the day before her dental appointment. By the end of the 1 hour session, her pain had gone from about a 7-8 to a 1.

The next day she emailed me and said she woke up pain free! She then explained her dental appointment.

Her dentist exclaimed that she must be "the luckiest person alive" and the dentist had never seen something like this happen! Instead of a root canal, she just had to have a crown put on, which if you know anything about dentistry or receiving it that is a HUGE difference. Thank you Richard and Quantum-Touch!!

8. A Reminder to See the Higher Purpose

Last November I had the opportunity to visit Toronto, Ontario to take a Quantum Touch course. After the Saturday session was over, I caught the streetcar down one long stretch of road, and got off where I should transfer. Not three steps off of the streetcar, I saw my transfer go by. So....I decided this must be for a reason, and set out on foot down a very long stretch of road to my friend's apartment. I enjoyed seeing all the people, shops, restaurants etc. as I strolled down the street.

There were several men sitting on the corners, with their cardboard coffee cups, looking for "donations". I threw a few coins in for a few of them, and suddenly out of nowhere (really) a young man came up to me and said, "Please could you help me? I am REALLY trying hard to get off the street!" I told him that if he'd walk with me to the next submarine sandwich shop that I'd buy him dinner. He gladly took me up on my offer.

Along the way, I told him that his mind and thoughts had tremendous power, and gave him a crash course on manifesting his reality. He was an intelligent man, and he totally understood what I was trying to get across to him. We arrived at the sandwich shop, went in, and ordered our meal together. I gave him $20 to pay for our dinner, and he stood up straight and looked so different. When we got to the table, I told him that the food I'd ordered for myself was for him to save for breakfast, and I gave him the change. I apologized for not being able to stay and eat with him, as my friend was cooking supper, and I was already late.

He said to me "I've waited my whole life to hear the things you've had to say, I've
waited my whole life to meet you!" There and then he asked if he could hug me. I gladly obliged. He asked me where I'd learned this stuff, and what I did for a living. I told him about myself, and also told him about Quantum-Touch. It just so happened that I had a few Quantum-Touch books with me, so I gave him one, along with my name and address etc. I told him that he could learn how to do
Quantum-Touch from the book. He said that he'd send me a postcard when he
got an apartment and got off the street. I told him that I would send him
distant healing to help him. His dream is to have an apartment and a kitten. He loves kittens.

When I left him there, he thanked me again, and said that I'd made his day! Well, I told him that he didn't understand - that he'd totally made my whole weekend! Then I told him that his efforts to manifest his dream, was the reason that I'd missed my streetcar! He got the joke totally and we both laughed.

He commented how grateful he was that someone actually spoke to him with eye contact that it had meant so much to him. Well, I haven't heard from Shaine yet, but I'm certain that if I keep sending him distant healing, (and any readers that would like to send some healing to him, I'm sure he'd be grateful!) that I will hear from him one day soon.

I'm grateful for the lessons I learned from him. I just imagine that he is probably doing Quantum-Touch on himself, and on some other men living on the street. I know he'll do Quantum-Touch on his kitten one day.

Let's allow Quantum-Touch to reach all the corners of the earth, and every person, as well, even those living on the street. Shaine's love has as much value as yours or mine. He knows that now! (Distant Healing for Shaine will be gratefully appreciated!)

9. Breech Baby No More

I wanted to share with you one amazing story. A few weeks ago I talked to my Mom on the phone. She mentioned that my niece was scheduled for a C-section the very next day, because she had a breech baby. She lives in California. After the phone conversation, my wife and I talked about it, and then we remembered that at the Live Basic Workshop we were told that Quantum-Touch helped in all kinds of pregnancy/birth complications. We decided to work on my niece remotely that evening. Then, we forgot all about it.

I asked my Mom about my niece only a few weeks later. My Mom said that it was kind of funny. The same evening when my wife and I were doing distant Quantum-Touch, the baby started moving. My niece went to the hospital the next morning for the surgery. She was checked once again, and doctors said that her baby was no longer breech and was facing the birth canal with his head. They cancelled the surgery. We didn't tell any of them what we did. They wouldn't believe it anyway, but it doesn't matter. Quantum-Touch works regardless of what people believe! Isn't it amazing?

10. Life Force Energy - To "Feel" or "Not to Feel"

This is a message which I hope will encourage others like me who do not "feel" the energy as they do the breathing. I was facilitating a video workshop and enlisted the help of a friend to work on my cousin who complained of no feeling in her feet. My friend has a heightened awareness of energy flow and was aware that there was little energy emanating from my cousin and that there was a blocked area around the small of her back. She asked me to place my hands on my cousin's back and do the breathing. I had only done one full sweep when my friend reeled backwards and exclaimed to my cousin: "Wow! You've just been plugged into the mains!" I was greatly encouraged by that as I had felt nothing; we continued to work and after a quarter of an hour my cousin was re-energized all over.

11. Chocolate without the Calories

The following is part of a dialogue from our message board. Enjoy!

I had my first distance healing session with someone at an appointed time just for fun. We had a 10-minute session.

In the middle of the session I experienced a smell/taste of Lemon-Citrus. When we spoke afterwards she told me that she had used Citrus Lotion twice that day before and after a tanning session! I never expected to experience something at a distance like a smell.

She experienced eating a wonderful piece of toast made from the same bread that she hadn't liked yesterday. She also moved easily about her apartment when only a few minutes before she felt clumsy.

Wow, that was fun. Thank you QT!

Has anyone else experienced distance smells or similar?

Hi Dawn,
I just read your post and thought of the friend that I have often ran energy to and on. Almost EVERY time we work together, I smell/taste lemons. The only thing that we can figure out is that she has a very acidic system--this has been proven with blood tests.

I also have worked with others that I have tasted and smelled things with--one gentleman I have worked with I smell/taste chocolate. Why this happens, I don't know but it must be a sign/signal that at some point I will be able to figure out.

12. Quantum-Touch - Beyond Belief

The validity or effectiveness of Quantum-Touch does not depend on one's belief of any one aspect of the practice. The proof is in the pudding and it has been irrevocably proven that it can and does work. Quantum-Touch is a unique, powerful and valuable tool for learning about, for using and experiencing the aspects or subtle energies of the universal Life Force.

For me, the power of Quantum-Touch is that it employs the Life Force which exists independent of our belief (or disbelief) in it - it exists and it works regardless of how we choose to color, name, describe or employ it.
