ARE YOU HESITANT TO OFFER HELP?
As Quantum-Touch instructors, we've done lots of workshops and met with many
students and practitioners. One thing that comes up often is "How do I get
started doing energy work?" Having the knowledge to help people is such a
blessing, but if we're a bit shy, then people never get to experience the help
we could offer. Sometimes folks who have read the book or watched the videos are
hesitant to offer help to the very people who could use it. This is even true
for some Quantum-Touch workshop graduates. Our response? Don't be shy!
BE BOLD, BE EXPERIMENTAL
You'll often meet people who are in pain. In fact, almost everybody you meet has
some complaint. It's rare that we find people without any problems at all. Why
not be bold about offering help? Be experimental and see what happens. You can
certainly do no harm and you may often find that you can be of immense help to
people. Here are some examples from our last workshop.
"I've been practicing with interesting/great results. My husband had a
"killer headache" that disappeared after 5 minutes of running energy.
A friend right after hernia surgery was able to relax and get a bit of pain and
anxiety relief. I worked one 15 minute session long distance that he was
unaware of, and when I called his wife, she shared that at the same time I was
running energy, her husband seemed to melt and relax for the first time all
day. Wow!!!!!
"I also, as discreetly as possible, ran energy on a little girl who hurt
herself on the playground at work (a good crash into the bleachers). After 3
minutes of running energy, to my amazement, she was up and running."

"My face had been swollen for several weeks due to a bad tooth. My face
was so round it didn't even look like my real face. Finally, I had oral surgery
on my jaw to remove a bad tooth which had become infected. Following the
surgery my face was still swollen. It was even difficult to speak, because I
couldn't open my mouth to talk."
"Following the Quantum-Touch workshop, which I took right after surgery,
the swelling in my face went down virtually overnight. Very quickly the
swelling reduced substantially and there was virtually no pain. Even at the
workshop I was able to speak again. It sounds like a fairy tale, but after the
workshop, when I ran into two of my aunts at the hardware store, they didn't
even recognize me. My face had changed so much from receiving
Quantum-Touch."

These two experiences are from people who had just learned Quantum-Touch. We
can all be of help to others with just a few minutes of our time.
OPPORTUNITIES ARE EVERYWHERE
How many people do you know who are in pain? It seems every time we turn around
we hear a new sad story. When you hear a sad story, take action and see what
happens. It's rare indeed that someone will turn down an offer of help. You
could even speak to groups, clubs, charitable organizations, or even talk about
your newfound skill over tea. Just be bold and don't hesitate to offer your
help. As Richard Gordon says, "Your love has impact; your love
matters."

3. Practitioner Insights
(1) I often use my eyes and direct my inner focus to the area I am working
on. I envision my "laser vision" is increasing the energy
between my fingers or hands and see a stream of light coming from my eyes to
between my hands. It helps my mental focus and I feel like the heat and
energy is stronger when I do this!

(2) As I get more in touch with my body through Quantum-Touch breathing and
focusing, I am seeing qualitative changes in my life. Eckhart Tolle talks
about going deeper into your body to connect to your soul and oneness with the
Universe. He also says that by bringing breath up and down your body you
will slow down your aging process. Maybe that's why people are asking me
what's different about me and they can't believe I am over 50!
Quantum-Touch helps me do that and positively influences all areas of my life.

(4) I have learned that energy can be run into the foot at a reflex spot that relates
to the pain. This is sometimes more comfortable than working on the
actual spot.

4. Horse Miracles with Quantum-Touch
Previously I sent in a story about a horse called "Tigers Miracle"
(October 6th newsletter). Little did I know what was in store for me with
Quantum Touch and healing horses in the near future?
It all started just before Christmas. The phone rang on December 14,
2005. It was the barn where I board my own horse. Debra, one of the
barn owners, was calling for my husband who is an equine veterinarian for the
thoroughbred race horses at Woodbine Race Track in the Toronto area.
Unfortunately he was in Florida
on his yearly golf holiday. Debra said that Diva was very sick and had
severe signs of colic (a stomach and intestinal upset that can kill). The
problem with Diva is that the owners, a 16 year old girl and her mother went
from "riches to rags" due to family problems and owed everyone
including the barn so much money that no veterinarian or blacksmith etc. would
come to help. I told Debra that I would come out immediately and do what
I could for Diva until they could figure some way to get a vet. I have
worked on Diva before and I know how much she loved Quantum- Touch.
Also that same day another horse belonging to Debra and her husband Dave (the
owners) had one of their horses come down with the same sickness! They
got several vets to come and work on their horse that is called Felicia.
I wasn't asked to work on Felicia (yet) and she had lots of veterinary help so
I didn't even offer and she was kept in another barn so I didn't even see her.
When I got to Diva, I started Quantum Touch immediately as she was seriously
ill and really needed a vet! I got Debra to phone Diva's owners and get
them up to help me. Horses need to walk and move around to help release
the gas in the intestines which causes severe pain. Diva was going down
in the stall and rolling and groaning in pain. Horses can be dangerous
also to work on when in such severe pain (even the sweetest natured, which Diva
was in that category).
I worked about an hour when Diva's owners arrived. By this time Diva was
up and looking better but still needed a vet. Sarah, the young girl who
owned and rode Diva helped a lot. I had her walk the horse between
sessions and get hay for her to try and eat.
If they get up and eat, that is a good sign, as a very sick horse will not
eat. We needed Diva to eat so the food could move through her many yards
of intestine and come out the other end. I sensed that Diva had no food
or water in her body. Horses with colic can also have their guts twist,
called gastric torsion. If that happens only surgery can correct them
which is not guaranteed and very expensive! I didn't think Diva was in
that category.
We worked on Diva from mid afternoon till midnight. She started to eat
hay and drank water from her bucket just before midnight! This was a
great sign, although she wasn't right. I asked her owners for permission
to give her an injection of a heavy duty pain killer to keep her comfortable
through the night. This is what a vet would have done immediately but I
needed to make sure she wasn't twisted. I was under a lot of pressure to
save her life. At this time, I was her only hope. I went upstairs to make
up the injection. When I got back and went into the stall I saw some
fresh poop! About eight little balls! They were to busy talking to
notice. I knew then that she wasn't twisted and she had passed a lot of
gas during all the Quantum-Touch sessions and hand walks. I gave the
injection but only half the usual dosage just so we could go home, sleep and
get warmed up.
The next day Diva was again very ill. I pulled rank and called in my
husband's rookie associate vet. I told her the situation and asked if she
could come out and help. She was the only vet not on the
vacation as she was a female and only men went on this golf trip.
She came up about 6pm the next day. She started treatment and blurted out
to the owners that unless Diva was sent for surgery she would die by the next
day! That sent Diva's owners down to the house crying and freaking
out! The vet left and said she was coming back in a couple of hours.
Needles to say I went to work alone this time as the owners and barn owners
were shattered! The vet came back in 3 hours to retreat the horse and
left for good! The barn owners found another vet to take
over. At 11:30pm I was getting tired and asked the owners who
surfaced to go back down to the house and call this other vet and see if he was
coming also that night. I felt liked I was in charge whether I want to be
or not. Yes, he was coming. I wanted out of all the responsibility
and Diva needed another pain killer!
When he arrived I waited for a while. I wanted to keep a low key as he
knew my husband since they went to school together 30 years ago. He was
asking questions which only I could answer. I could see from his eyes that he
wondered who I was and why I knew medically what I did. He was more
optimistic at this time, (after 3 hours of Quantum-Touch) and told the owners
that Diva was going to need a lot of vet care for a few days but she was not
going to die! They were happy and I left! My job was finished and
so was the pressure!
Diva had many chronic lameness problems before this colic episode. Her
right hind hock had no fluid left in it causing pain, her front feet were sore
due to lack of blacksmith, and in the summer she was kicked in the left shoulder
and couldn't walk. She was still extremely lame and Sarah had been walk
riding her. She was extremely lame still.
One week after the colic episode was over Sarah saddled up Diva. Guess
what? She was completely sound! The blacksmith had not even done
her sore looking feet!? This proves yet again that the Quantum-Touch had
gone farther than I had expected! I treated her for colic only on the
abdomen. I never touched her legs or feet. I just wanted her to
live and I had the attitude that "she would live even if it killed
me!" It almost did but was worth it. I got my expectation and
then some!
Felicia, the horse I mentioned earlier, had only received veterinary care for
colic on the day I was treating Diva. When I returned to the barn after New
Years on January 5th, Dave the owner warned me that Felicia was in the same
paddock as my horse but was extremely ill. She hadn't recovered totally
from the colic. This was the 5th day that she wouldn't eat or
drink. She could only stand for 15 minutes at a time but mostly just lay
down in her stall and outside all day. She was dying. He walked out
with me telling me his fears that he wasn't sure if she would still be alive
when he saw her next. As we walked towards her she was flat down and
out. She wasn't moving. Then she twitched one ear! She was
still alive!
I asked Dave to bring her in and let me give her a Quantum-Touch
treatment. They were specific with me that no more vets and money was
going to be spent on Felicia. I asked for one free riding lesson with his
wife but gave no promises. I just wanted a chance to try and save
her! He said yes and I went to work instead of riding. Felicia was
down in her stall as she was out in the field. I got a flake of hay and put
it near her head. It took about 10 minutes and she got up. Twenty
minutes later Dave came by with the wheel barrel and he said "she can't
stand that long!" Soon she started to nibble on the hay as
well! I sensed that something was wrong with her heart and she had lost the
will to live and was depressed. I also made a point of working on her
head as well as her internal organs. I felt that her iron was low.
Dave said that he wished the vets were as professional as I was. He then
left the barn for the whole afternoon. I was completely alone on the
property.
After about two hours I sensed she wanted back outside. I took her
out. She went down so I stayed out in the snow and worked on her putting
hay near her mouth. By the time they came back to feed and bring in all
the horses she was standing. She ate some grain which Debra hand fed
her. I gave Debra a large syringe to give her water and oil.
Felicia loved the water but wouldn't drink on her own. I asked Debra if
she would spend $30 on a bottle of specific vitamins (heavy duty injectable)
and she agreed to that. I took my husband up the next day with "fix
her up drugs" and also ethanol which is used to put them down permanently
just in case. She was so border line. To my surprise Felicia was
standing, happy, alert, and a total different horse, when we arrived.
Remember the day before she was dying! I felt like an idiot but asked my
husband to take a blood sample for fee just to check my suspicions. I was
right by the way about the iron.
The owners Deb and Dave call me the "miracle worker"! I cannot
get it through to them that I didn't heal Felicia, she healed herself!
They don't understand. They just know what they saw first hand with Diva
and Felicia. Both horses are totally healthy and being ridden to this
day! Both owners are extremely grateful to me.
I have experienced total miracles on three very sick horses in this barn alone
where the Quantum-Touch energy has gone far beyond what I intended it to
do! Imagine going on to further and permanently heal chronic leg and
shoulder problems that have been going on for years! Practically or
literally bringing a horse back from death!
My own horse came in lame with a puss pocket in his left hind foot. With
only 3 minutes of spot Quantum-Touch, I felt something literally blow up and
all the heat came out of the foot backwards out through my hands. I felt
his foot 10 minutes later and his foot was cold as it should be!
When my husband cannot fix a racehorse he calls me. He has me timed to
three minutes and 20 seconds till the horse eats and gets up!
Horses are extremely sensitive to the Quantum-Touch energy! I am not
anyone special, except my heart lies with the horses. I also only use the
Supercharging now and the Core Transformation where necessary. I am also
extremely grateful to the universe to allow these miracles to happen. I
am definitely a horse enthusiast! I think the universe knows!!!

5. Quantum-Touch, Scoliosis, and Braces
Recently Hawk and I have had great success with young girls (ages 12-16) who
have been diagnosed with scoliosis. Usually in the first half hour of
running Quantum-Touch energy there is marked improvement. So much so that
the parent's mouths drop open as they watch their child's spine go into
alignment.
The sad thing about this scoliosis diagnosis is that most of the kids are being
treated quite differently by conventional medicine. One 12 year old girl
came in to us with a plastic brace covering her torso. Her doctor said if
she didn't straighten out soon, they may have to put a steel rod in her
spine! We have heard this often in our years as health practitioners and
CranioSacral therapists.
Now with Quantum-Touch, these kids have almost instant relief! I used to
call it a miracle, but it's happened so many times now, we view it as normal
procedure!
I would like to add here that many times this scoliosis is a direct result of
wearing braces on the top teeth. The hard palate is actually two bones
called the "maxillae" and when the wires of the braces are put across
the midline, the suture between the two bones is held in place and cannot move
properly. If you know a child who is wearing braces, get your hands on
them and do the hip alignment and the occipital alignment each time they visit
the orthodontist. This can help them greatly to get through the couple of
years with the braces. After that, continue to work on them. Some
studies have shown that 85% of people diagnosed with scoliosis wore braces.

6. Relief from TMJ Issues After Receiving Quantum-Touch
Feedback from one of my clients:
I was doing the breathing thing you taught me (quantum) and I started feeling
this pressure in my jaw joint (I've always had TMJ issues). Also each jaw
muscle was full of fibromyalgia spots and swollen - This morning they are
noticeably smaller to the touch and I can tell I'm chewing with both sides of
my mouth equally (must have gotten shifted into place).
So now you have another story to tell people :)

7. Still Born Foal Revived
We recently assisted a maiden mare deliver a foal that was carried over a very
long time for some reason. She went into labor and it was evident the foal was
stuck in the birth canal. We actually moved her to our arena so we had lots of
room, and started assisting her in delivery.
However, the colt was REALLY stuck at the shoulders. We could see him trying to
breathe through the placenta, and then stop. At that point he only had part of
his front legs and nose out. The mare was in great distress. We were both
pulling as she pushed and finally got one leg to pop the shoulders through. It
got pretty scary because at one point my husband said out loud that he didn't
think we were going to get the foal out. He wasn't moving.
I had begun sending her energy so hot, fast and furious that things actually
got a little blurry. We kept working and finally got the foal to his heart
girth where he also got his hips stuck. We still weren't sure we were going to
get him out, but we gave a final pull and got the foal free. We pulled off the
rest of the membrane and cleaned his mouth, etc.
After all the work my husband suddenly reminded me that the foal wasn't
breathing and it had been several minutes. At that time the mare suddenly got
up and was a bit shaky, so I saw her in the energy field vortex and let it sit
there with her.
I then put my hand on the foal's heart area and claimed the word
"Energy" for him. I saw us wrapped in silver, gold, bronze and white
light that was so powerful and so clear. I started pushing on his heart area
five times, nothing happened, five more times, got one heartbeat, five more
times and I could feel the life of the heart beneath my hand. What a feeling
that was. He started moving around a little and opened his eyes, breathed in
that fresh cold air, and decided he wanted to get up. I turned my attention
back to the mare that almost went into shock, but saw her light had turned to
lavender, blue and gold and she was ok. I shared out loud with my husband what
I had been doing because during this time I was not really talking much, just
working. He also sent Quantum-Touch to the mare and foal.
It was interesting to see that the Quantum-Touch not only gave strength to us
to pull, but I could see just about an eighth of an inch of light all the way
around the foal while in the canal, just enough to get him room to slide out as
the shoulder and hip bones finally passed the pelvis. Does this stuff work? Ha,
do you have to ask me? "JW" and his mom are doing just fine. Mare
recovered well, foal is developing nicely. JW did so well because of his John
Wayne survival attitude and True Grit.

8. Why Can't I Feel Anything When I Run Energy?
Try as I might, I don't feel any tingling or any sensations what-so-ever when I
try to run the energy the way the CDs instruct me to. Am I energy
dead? Or what?

Hello Summer,
In the Interactive Video Workshop, Richard Gordon addresses your question by
saying that you may not feel any sensation right away or ever. You simply
proceed as if you do and you will be amazed at the great results you are able
to get anyway.
When I began learning QT I didn't feel anything either. Then months later
I started feeling a slight tingling in my left hand when I would take a deep
breath. Then I noticed that my hands would tingle a little when I would
talk to someone about their health issues. Remember that life-force
energy is subtle; we use it every moment of our lives without thinking.
Conscious practice is the key, just keep sweeping and breathing and somewhere
along the line you will notice sensations and you will blossom from
there.

9. Recovering from Systemic Lupus
Four years ago, after suffering various other symptoms for years (extreme
fatigue, general aches and pains, depression), Linda's saliva and tear glands
"shut down". That was when the doctors finally diagnosed the
root cause...Systemic Lupus. No known cure. And the primary
treatment was a lifetime of steroids. Linda declined. But she never
stopped looking for alternatives.
When she first came to Christina and me, about 6 weeks ago, she listed her
conditions: Her lungs capacity was at 53%. She suffered from
arthritis in her joints, including her right shoulder and especially her hips,
making it painful to walk. She rated her saliva production at 10 - she'd
had NONE for 4 years. And her lower back pain was caused mainly by her
damaged liver.
During her first session, the pain in her shoulder went from a 6 to a 3 and in
her hips (which were sometimes an 8 or a 10) from a 3 to 0. As she took a
test walk she got a little light-headed from the unaccustomed increase in
oxygen. That night she coughed up a lot of stuff and the next day she had
trouble breathing again.
Session two brought the lungs from a 5 to a 1, but again only lasted a day or
so. The pain in her lower back went from a 5 to 0. We didn't seem
to be having an effect on the saliva glands. But just like a battering ram
incessantly beating against a dam, we saw that first crack and drop of
"water" (saliva) ooze forth in about the third week. During the
night, Linda swallowed, without water. She stated that one can't do that
without some saliva. Now we were starting to get excited for her!
Today we asked Linda to summarize where she is now, compared to
pre-Quantum-Touch. Here's what she shared with us:
"The arthritis in my hips was a constant pain, although the intensity
varied. It has not bothered me since those first sessions. My right
shoulder doesn't hurt. My breathing is better. I still have
difficulty, like climbing a set of stairs, but I did it yesterday. I
couldn't do that at all before Quantum-Touch. I have saliva once in a while and
Quantum-Touch is doing that...I'm tickled pink!"
We are continuing with our sessions; one 1-hour a week in person and 4 or 5
15-minute distant sessions a week.
Linda believes the lupus is going to go away. Who are we to say
otherwise? Please friends, don't get discouraged and don't give up if it
doesn't happen "right now".

10. A Burning Burn
I was recently in Guatemala on a week vacation with Christine Towns (an
excellent up and coming soon to be Quantum-Touch Practitioner in Wyoming). One
night in our hotel room, I was building a fire in the fireplace. They had this
pink gel stuff in a small plastic container for lighting the fire. I
accidentally got an extremely tiny amount on my finger and wiped it off with
the match book cover (oops!). Not thinking I lit a match, and the entire match
book burst into instant flames and burned my index finger badly.
I put ice on it, and after 5 min it melted and my finger was burning like
crazy. Christine began running energy on it, and I joined in. However the pain
was very intense and my focus was challenged, so I'm grateful for Christine's
work.
In 10-15 minutes, my finger did not hurt at all!! It never bubbled up the way
bad burns do, and even in the shower with hot water it didn't hurt ever again.
Even though I've been doing QT for quite a while now, I'm still amazed at the
power of such a short session! Thank you Richard Gordon, Bob Rasmusson, and of
course Christine!

11. The Quantum Repair Shop
One couple at the Core Transformation Workshop had their washing machine break
down. Smoke was coming out of it. I had suggested in the class that they try
wombing anything that breaks (they have a history of electrical things breaking
in their house) and whadda y'know ... completely fixed. They emailed everyone
on the class to tell them and one lady then tried wombing her wind generator
that hadn't worked for about a month, despite her husband trying to fix it. The
wombing fixed it!!
P.S. My cell phone went completely flat just before a recent Supercharging
class. I had forgotten to charge it up. After I'd taken each student through
the Amp Technique, it flashed 'battery full' and lasted for 3 days without being
plugged in!!!!

12. Feeling Pain when Running Energy
The following dialogue was taken from our message board. We occasionally
hear stories of individuals who experience pain when running energy on
someone. This discussion illustrates the process and how we learn.

My daughter gets a pain in her back when I run energy on her. It goes away
after awhile, but it will get very severe. She was told that she was wounded
there in a past life. Tonight for the first time she got the pain when she ran
energy on me. (I had amplified myself up--she hasn't had Supercharging, and I
thought it might help). Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I have experienced this same thing. It was an old injury healing. Believe it
will go away once it has fully healed. Mine would reach 10 out of 10 every time
I worked on someone. I just trusted the process and then one day it reached it
peak and then I had a major release in the area and it went away permanently.
So, keep up the work, eventually it will heal completely.

The person running the energy is getting healing also. If she continues to run
energy on others and receives Quantum-Touch from you, I bet her healing process
will be quicker.

It's also important to NOT stop running the energy when your daughter's pain
increases. Quantum-Touch accelerates the healing process. The increased pain is
her body's innate intelligence doing exactly what needs to be done to heal. In
other words, instead of that severe pain going away "after awhile",
it may very likely last only a few minutes if you simply continue to run the
energy, and NEVER return!
"Trust the process" has almost become a mantra for me and my clients.
Before each session, I explain that their pain may get worse before it gets
better. This helps prepare them in advance. Every one of them whose pain
increased was able to tolerate the severe pain, trusting that it would, in
fact, ease up after awhile. And, in fact, their increased pain DID ease up, and
they were very happy afterwards when they discovered that they were no longer
having any pain whatsoever.

13. Bruises, Laughter, and Quantum-Touch
A close friend rang and told me she had fallen in her garden and badly bruised
her ribs. She thought she had broken her back; she had so much pain and
couldn't get up. She lay there in the rain until her friend picked her up and
took her to the doctor. He wouldn't strap it, which would have eased the pain.
He just gave her painkillers and put her off work for SIX weeks; because ribs
heal slowly!
I drove out immediately because I believe the less time since the accident, the
better the results.
She showed me the bruise. It was from just above the belly button, right round
to her spine and more than the width of my hand. I started 2 inches off the
ribs, then gently touching, then top and bottom around the bruise. When I
finished, she looked shaken and disoriented, so I did a few minutes technique
to bring her into the present. She protested that and then went into
uncontrollable giggles. I said to myself, "There goes the energy of that
bruise!"
The doctor told her she must sleep in a chair but that was very painful for
her. As the pain had gone from 9 to 6, she decided to try sleeping on top of
her bed. She arranged her clothes nearby but awoke to find her knickers had
fallen on the floor. What to do? Slowly and carefully she bent down. "What
NO pain?" She pulled up her nightdress, "WHAT NO BRUISE!"
When she rang me, we found we both had the same doctor. I said, "Go see
him soon; slap your sides and say' Not much wrong with my ribs, Doc!"
After a days rest, she went back to work!
